From Shannon ~ here is a cute skittles mani with a shredded opal topcoat perfect for Easter!
From pinky finger: Lime Crime’s Milky Ways, Peaches Cream, Once in a Blue Mousse, then Sinful Color’s Starfish and Tempest (thumb). Three coats each plus 1 coat of Avon’s Opalescence:
Happy St. Paddy’s Day! So today Mary and I are both rockin’ some green and gold nails. This is great for mom, as normally green nail polish is a no-no at work!
From Shannon ~ for your consideration: Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetic’s Man Oh Man and Pipe Dream Polish’s Green light. Man Oh Man went on super-smooth and was opaque in 3 coats. It has such a lovely green shimmer and is perfect for today! Green Light is from the Lorde Gatsby collection and is a gorgeous glitter bomb with teal and silver glitter in a darker teal jelly base. I used 1 coat over Man Oh Man on my accent finger, no undies or top coat:
From Mary ~ for your consideration: Sinful Colors green polish and gold glitter. Neither of these had a name on the package (?) but the green polish reminds us of a ripe Granny Smith apple, and the gold glittah was a sparkly joy! The polish was very sheer though, and we used 2 coats as I wanted a more subtle color to offset the sparkly sparkles of that gold! No undies, no topcoat:
And, because mom liked that gold glittah so much, this happened:
So how are you showing off your Irish spirit today?
Well hello there, and welcome to our blog! Our format will be to show off both Shannon’s, the fabulous 40 y.o., and Mary’s, the Techie Teen, nails!
From Shannon ~ up for your consideration: OPI‘s Germani-cure, and the ring finger’s accent is Sinful Color‘s Full Spectrum. Germani-cure is a burgundy red with a black base. It was opaque in 2 coats but I like to use 3 coats. Full Spectrum is a gorgeous glitter-bomb with small holo glitter and larger pink hexes in a clear base:
Here is the mani in action (yes, you can look fabu while surfin’ Facebook):
From Mary ~ up for your consideration: China Glaze‘s White on White and Wet ‘N Wild‘s At the After Party. Mary rocked this look with black heels. White on White is a thick white. It went on streaky and took 3 coats to become opaque. At the After Party is an explosion of rainbow metallics of different shapes and sizes in a clear base:
Here is the pedi in action (lookin’ good while studying for that test):
We look forward to your feedback!
